I took advantage of the free admission to the museum last week, and am so glad I went! I only checked it out once, scrounged the museum a few times, and still feel like I haven’t seen it all! My plans are to go visit the museum sometime soon and drool over Joseph Cornell’s boxes again. *wink* It is truly unbelievable to stand in front of someone’s work- someone who was not only a successful artist, but someone who really wanted to be an artist- to make art, to share art, to understand art, and to teach art. It is hard to find people like that these days…
On top of that, I brought along a Canon PowerShotA95 and got in a few images! I filled the memory up pretty quick- so here are some amazing photographs of some amazing artwork. enjoy and be inspired!
